Eating alone is one of the downsides to (business) travel. That's why we came up with Shareatable. It is an initiative that makes it easy for (business) travelers to join others at their table and eat together. Tables in (business) hotels are often occupied by only one person, even though most (business) travelers admit that they really don’t like eating on their own. Wherever you see a sign with our logo in a hotel or restaurant, you’ll know that there is a table set aside to share. No need to ask, you can simply plonk yourself down. Don't see a sign? Bring your own and become one of our Ambassadors!

Other than that, there are no rules. You don’t have to eat at the same time, you don’t have to split the bill, eat at the same speed, or anything. And if you don’t feel like talking to anyone, simply go sit at another table. It’s as easy as that.

So why are we doing this? We travel a lot on business ourselves and we have a dream that one day the Shareatable logo will be as easily recognizable as the big P for parking. Imagine that…
